Job summary

Mountain Club in Whistler is seeking a year-round, permanent part-time team member to ensure smooth adventure experiences from inquiry to trip finish. The role blends guest service, booking coordination, and operations support with a path to a full-time position as the business grows.

You’ll work 15–25 hours weekly with remote admin flexibility in off-seasons, report to the Operations Manager, and join a small, collaborative team in BC's mountains. Immediate start for the right candidate.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills; able to learn booking systems quickly.
  • First Aid Level 3 (80 hours) or willingness to obtain it.
  • Valid Class 4 Driver's Licence or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver guest service before, during, and after trips.
  • Coordinate bookings, reservations, and guest communications.
  • Assist with day-of guest check-in and operational coordination.
  • Maintain accurate administrative records and support improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to sales, marketing, and new business projects.

The role

This is a year-round, permanent part-time (15-25hrs/week) position based in Whistler with the flexibility of remote administrative work during the off-season. There is an opportunity to grow into a full-time role as we continue to get busier. You will report to the Operations Manager and play a vital role in ensuring every adventure runs smoothly, from the first inquiry to the final high-five at the end of a trip.

What you’ll be doing
  • Guest magic: Delivering exceptional service before, during, and after trips.
  • The hub: Coordinating bookings, reservations, and guest communications.
  • Field ops: Assisting with day-of guest check-in and operational coordination.
  • Behind the scenes: Maintaining accurate administrative records and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • The extra mile: Contributing to sales, marketing, and exciting new business projects.

The essentials
