Job summary

Oliver & Bonacini Hospitality is seeking friendly Hosts for our Canadian mountain dining venues. You will greet guests, manage reservations with OpenTable, and coordinate seating to ensure a smooth flow between Front of House and Back of House teams.

You’ll contribute to a welcoming guest experience with professionalism, flexibility, and a team-first attitude, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role is based in Ontario, Canada.

Qualifications

• Valid Smart Serve Certification required.
• Previous experience as a host or guest-facing hospitality role is an asset.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Calm under pressure, with a proactive and team-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable using reservation and table management systems (OpenTable).
• A passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences.
• Available to work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Legally eligible to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and timely manner
• Manage reservation and walk-in traffic using OpenTable
• Monitor table rotation and coordinate with Front Of House and Back Of House teams to optimize guest flow
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the host stand and entrance area
• Answer guest inquiries and assist with special requests, wait times, or accommodations
• Support the overall guest experience with a friendly and attentive approach
• Assist with bussing tables and support the team by running food and beverages as needed
• Other duties as assigned
