Job summary

Cineplex Entertainment LP is seeking a customer-focused hospitality team member at The Rec Room with strong guest service and multitasking abilities. You will greet guests, manage reservations, guide seating, and support servers and staff to ensure a memorable dining and entertainment experience.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, at least 1 year restaurant experience, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Certificate or diploma in a related field preferred.
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
• 1 year of restaurant service experience.
• Exceptional conflict resolution, negotiation, and objection handling skills.
• Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills for diverse environments.
• Effective communication both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record guests' reservations and assign tables.
• Greet guests at entrance and escort them to seating areas.
• Maintain familiarity with all menu items.
• Enroll guests into membership program when required.
• Address guest concerns and ensure satisfaction with food and service.
• Report supplies and equipment needs to leadership.
• Inspect dining and serving areas and equipment.
• Accept payment for food, beverages, and games as required.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and dress; assist in training junior staff.
• Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
• Welcome guests warmly and contribute to a positive dining experience.
