Job summary

Cineplex is hiring an Hourly Host/Hostess, Front of House, for The Rec Room. You will promote a hospitality experience aligned with Cineplex standards and manage guest interactions with care.

Responsibilities include maintaining clean, safe spaces, handling reservations, promoting events and pricing, and coordinating with management on inquiries and operations. This is a student-friendly role with varied shifts and standing duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Smart Serve Certificate.
• Attention to detail in task execution.
• Experience in customer service preferred.
• Good communication skills and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure restaurant are clean and well maintained for the guests.
• Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
• Delivers exceptional service and dining experience to guests.
• Set up and tear down for functions, events and activities.
• Ensure guests are aware of pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.
• Ensure guests adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Relay guest inquiries to Management and resolve issues.
• Communicate operational problems to Management.
• Answer inquiries for reservations and organize bookings.
• Ensure stations are clean and fully operational.
• Other duties as required.
