Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred.
• Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
• 1 year of restaurant service experience.
• Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work under pressure with flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Receive and record guests' reservations and assign tables.
• Greet guests at entrance and escort to seating areas.
• Maintain familiarity with menu items and offerings.
• Enroll guests into membership program as required.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and address complaints.
• Communicate needs to dining room leadership for supplies.
• Inspect dining and serving areas and equipment for quality.
• Coordinate activities of servers and other staff.
• Accept payments for food, beverages, and games as required.
• Clean designated areas following routines and hygiene standards.
• Change table linens and exchange damaged items.
• Maintain excellent customer relations at all times.
• Attend to customer complaints satisfactorily.
• Report suspicious packages to management promptly.
• Participate in fire drills and know exits and routes.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to subordinates as needed.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.
• Ensure staff adhere to hygiene and dress standards.
• Attend meetings and trainings as required.
• Contribute to creating an environment where guests Tell Better Stories.
• Welcome all guests with a warm, friendly greeting.
