Job summary

Cineplex Entertainment LP is seeking an Hourly Front-of-House Host/Hostess at The Rec Room. You will promote an outstanding hospitality experience, maintain clean, safe facilities, and deliver exceptional service to guests. This role requires a Smart Serve certificate and strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Join a dynamic team delivering eats, entertainment and great guest experiences while working varied shifts and managing reservations and guest inquiries.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario Smart Serve Certificate.
• Some experience with customer service preferred.
• Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to manage a counter and its contents.

Responsibilities

• Promote an outstanding hospitality experience to guests.
• Ensure restaurant is clean and well maintained for guests.
• Deliver exceptional service and dining experience to guests.
• Set up and tear down for functions, events and activities.
• Ensure guests are aware of pricing for special events, promotions and daily events.
• Ensure guests adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Relay guest inquiries to Management and address concerns.
• Handle reservations inquiries.
• Keep individual stations clean and fully operational.
