Job summary

XTL Transport, Logistics, Distribution in Surrey, BC is seeking a Class 1 Shunter to manage yard operations with possible Class 1 driving work in the Lower Mainland. The role emphasizes safe, reliable shunting, live offload or drop-and-switch, and a supportive, stable schedule for home life.

Starting rate is $28.46 per hour with annual increases; overtime applies after 45 hours per week. Benefits, RRSP matching, and weekly pay are provided, with a focus on safety and a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• Class 1 Driver License required.
• Willing to sweep trailers.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a shunting truck.
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience hauling 53 ft trailers (dry and reefer).
• Clean abstract required (No more than 5 demerit points).
• Clean Criminal Record Search.

Responsibilities

• Shunting containers/trailers at the Costco Depot.
• Live offload or drop and switch depending on load/location.
