Job summary

XTL Transport Inc. in Surrey, BC is seeking a Class 1 Shunter to join our yard team on a Sunday to Thursday schedule. This role offers a stable home life, with shunting within the yard and potential driving work in the Lower Mainland.

Start rate $28.46 per hour, overtime after 45 hours, paid weekly, with RRSP matching and company-provided benefits. You will shuttle containers/trailers at Costco Depot, live offload or switch loads as needed, and enjoy excellent equipment and a safety-focused

Qualifications

• Class 1 driver license required.
• Minimum 6 months shunting truck experience.
• Minimum 2 years driving 53 ft trailers.
• Clean abstract with ≤5 demerit points.
• Criminal record search required.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Class 1 Driver License required

• Must be willing to sweep trailers

• Minimum 6 months experience in a shunting truck

• Minimum 2 years of drivingexperience required hauling 53 ft trailers (dry and reefer)

• Clean abstract required (No more than 5 demerit points)

• Clean Criminal Record Search
