Parrish & Heimbecker, Limited (P&H) in Biggar, Saskatchewan, is hiring a Grain Originator to develop and maintain relationships with key grain producers and dealers. You will source grain to meet export and domestic needs and gain market information for producers. Travel and face-to-face meetings are required.

The role focuses on high-volume contracts within the Merchandising team, offering opportunities for growth in a family-owned agricultural leader with a strong community focus.

Formación

• Post-secondary education considered an asset.
• Sales experience preferred, especially in grain industry.
• Strong sales techniques and negotiation strategies.
• Exceptional customer service and networking skills.
• Proven ability to meet sales targets and close deals.
• Available to travel periodically.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, with emphasis on Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Responsabilidades

• Identify business opportunities with producers and dealers.
• Negotiate contracts with producers and dealers on grain purchases.
• First point of contact for purchasing and delivery of grain.
• Meet producers face to face to prospect for new business and collect grain samples.
• Update producers on market information.
• Review grain marketing programs.
• Provide grain market information to the Merchandising team.
