Placements24 is seeking a Global Head of Remote Operations to design and scale our fully remote operational infrastructure worldwide. You will lead distributed teams, refine remote work policies, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions while fostering a high-performance culture.

The role demands a strategic, innovative leader with deep experience in remote operations, HR, IT, and budgeting. This is a high-impact executive position in a fast-growing, remote-first startup.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, International Business, or related field.
• 10–12 years of progressive operations management experience, with 5+ years leading global remote teams.
• Proven ability to build and scale remote operating infrastructure for distributed organizations.
• Deep understanding of international employment laws, compliance, and cross-cultural communication.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with collaboration tools, project management software, and HRIS systems for distributed workforces.
• Ability to manage multi-time-zone, cross-cultural projects.
• Strong financial acumen and budgeting experience across global operations.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage the global operational framework for a fully remote organization.
• Develop policies and best practices for remote team management, collaboration, and performance.
• Oversee HR operations support, IT infrastructure for remote work, and compliance across jurisdictions.
• Lead initiatives to foster an inclusive, productive remote company culture.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement tools that enhance remote collaboration and efficiency globally.
• Establish KPIs for remote operations and report insights to executive leadership.
• Manage budgets for global remote infrastructure and initiatives.
• Advise the executive team on strategies for scaling remote operations.
