Job summary

Mecka is seeking a Global Payroll & Benefits Manager to own payroll and benefits for Canada and the United States, building scalable processes as the team grows. You will ensure accurate, on-time payroll, administer competitive benefits, and manage providers and interfaces across HRIS, payroll, and finance systems.

You’ll partner with People, Finance and Legal, handling day-to-day execution and long-term improvement while maintaining data security and compliance across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• At least five years of hands-on payroll and benefits operations.
• Direct payroll experience in Canada and the United States.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and U.S. tax, benefits, and reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end payroll for Canada and US, multi-provincial/state.
• Coordinate international payroll via employers of record and vendors.
• Administer benefits programs across Canada and the US.
• Improve processes and ensure audit-ready controls.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, Legal and external partners.
