Job summary

Ballard Power Systems Inc. in Vancouver, BC, is seeking a 3-month contract Logistics Coordinator & Material Handler to join the Supply Chain team.

You will manage inbound/outbound international shipments, support warehouse operations, and ensure field service teams can deliver on-time service parts worldwide. The role requires 3+ years in international shipping, knowledge of ERP systems such as Oracle, Service Cloud, Agile, and RFS, and a CCS or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

3+ years of international shipping and logistics experience.
Experience supporting Customer Care or Field Service operations.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and materials handling.
Forklift certification and valid Class 5 driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Manage inbound and outbound global shipments, including carriers and customs paperwork.
Troubleshoot logistics issues to ensure on-time delivery.
Handle service parts inventory: replenishment, storage, shipments, returns, and disposal.
Receive, store, and deliver parts with accurate records and compliance.
Support packaging, picking, and recycling of service parts.
Work with ERP systems for order processing and record keeping.
Manage carrier relationships and coordinate freight and customs invoicing.
