About the Role

BCS Automation is seeking an innovative, results-driven Procurement and Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team! At BCS, you’ll be securing the components that power our custom automation solutions across diverse industrial and marine industries.

We value problem-solvers and empower you to transform challenges into opportunities. As our go-to authority on procurement for electrical automation, you’ll forge and maintain key supplier relationships, negotiate terms that deliver maximum value and keep projects running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Procurement: Negotiate cost-effective savings, quality, and delivery times with suppliers; procure parts and materials for electrical automation systems; track and expedite orders.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Design, implement, and manage an inventory tracking system; optimize just-in-time delivery of components; strategize procurement schedule to optimize cash flow.
  • Project Management: Align purchasing with project needs in collaboration with Engineering and Manufacturing; analyze records for budget tracking and supply chain analysis; manage project logistics.
Qualifications
  • Degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of ten years experience in procurement and/or supply chain management.
  • Proven experience negotiating with suppliers for best value.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with multiple ongoing projects.
Licenses
  • Valid driver’s license (G2 or G).
  • Valid passport for international travel.
