Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to collaborate with the Director of Care in delivering resident care within competency. You will provide safe, ethical nursing services, promote teamwork and a culture aligned with AgeCare values, and enhance resident safety and wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Registration and good standing with provincial nursing registry.
• Knowledge of Canadian healthcare laws and standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and across the residence.
• Leads shift report with health care team, informing changes in residents' status.
• Records significant changes in residents' condition and documents per policy.
• Reviews and processes physician orders; implements promptly.
• Communicates difficulties in processing orders to the Director of Care.
