Job summary

AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join a compassionate team delivering safe, person-centered care to residents in a supportive, home-like environment.

You will collaborate with the Director of Care to coordinate nursing services, lead shift reports, document changes, and process physician orders while upholding standards and safeguarding resident rights.

Qualifications

• A sound knowledge and background in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Registration and membership in good standing with provincial nursing registry.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and active RN licensure in Alberta.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Leads shift reports with the health care team to update on resident changes.
• Records significant changes in residents’ condition and ensures documentation complies with AgeCare policies.
