AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate resident care with the care team and manage shifts in our Calgary-area facility. You will integrate knowledge, skills, and judgment to provide safe, ethical nursing services to residents living in a long-term care setting.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, registration in good standing, and a strong background in geriatric or long-term care nursing.

Qualifications

• Broad knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Includes activation, nursing, and personnel administration.
• Registration and good standing with provincial nursing registry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services in the residence.
• Leads shift report with health care team members and ensures changes in residents' status are communicated.
• Reviews physician orders and ensures timely implementation; escalate issues to Director of Care.
