Walmart Canada in Fort Erie, ON seeks a General Merchandise Leader to drive customer service, merchandising execution and team coordination on the sales floor. You will greet customers, promote products, and help with purchase decisions while ensuring tasks are completed correctly.

You will lead daily team huddles, supervise schedules, mentor associates, and support safety and training initiatives across departments. This role partners with store leadership to improve performance.

Formación

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsabilidades

• Provides excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with product locations and purchase decisions.
• Directs and coordinates task completion per priorities from the General Merchandise Coach and Store Management.
• Assesses general merchandise presentation and executes merchandising changes as needed.
• Maintains strong communication with associates; leads daily team huddle and tracks productivity.
• Reviews schedules with People Lead and assigns associates for coverage and availability tasks.
• Tours areas with Coach to identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching.
• Contributes to a safe, clean work environment by following policy and completing safety logs.
• Completes GTA/Workday tasks and supports management; facilitates performance growth conversations.
• Supports recruiting and hiring new associates.
