Job summary

Walmart Canada in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield is seeking an in-store leader to assist General Merchandise operations and coach associates. You will greet customers, promote products, coordinate tasks, and help with merchandising displays while ensuring a high level of service.

You will guide daily team huddles, monitor schedules, assign coverage, and support training and safety. This role starts at CAD 21.85 per hour and includes opportunities to contribute to store performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and assisting with products and purchases.
• Coordinate tasks and delegate to associates per priorities from coaching staff.
• Assess department presentation and implement merchandising display changes.
• Lead daily team huddles and communicate goals and productivity updates.
• Review and optimize completed schedules with People/Coaching leads.
• Assign associates to cover shifts and availability across areas.
• Identify training opportunities during area tours with the Coach and team.
• Promote a safe, clean work environment following company policies.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support management functions.
• Support performance conversations and help recruit and hire new associates.
