Job summary

Cascades in St-Marys, Ontario is seeking a General Labour to feed machines and assist with setting up sections of the production line, ensuring accurate setups and smooth operation. You will verify stock, monitor box quality, and complete administrative duties promptly.

The role offers a continental shift pattern, 7am–7pm for two weeks and 7pm–7am for the next two weeks, plus a profit‑sharing plan, telemedicine, group insurance and a company‑contributed pension, and an Employee Assistance

Responsibilities

• Feed the machines and assist with setting-up various sections on machine accurately in accordance with proper setup techniques.
• Obtain order and verify stock specifications and condition.
• Monitor box quality and report any quality problems to the Operator.
• Complete necessary administrative duties and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assist operators with job duties on machine.
• Turn in maintenance orders to shift lead for repairs.
• Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including conduct, Health & Safety and maintaining good housekeeping, as well as all government regulations.
• Additional duties related to or not related to this job classification as assigned by shift lead
