Cascades is hiring for a Set Up Operator at our Scarborough facility. You will manage machine setup, operate production lines, verify stock specs, and ensure accurate documentation while following health and safety standards.

The role requires 1–2 years of machine operating experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to lift 35 lbs. You will contribute to process improvements and support teammates to maintain high production quality.

• Obtain production orders and verify stock specifications and material condition.
• Perform all production activities, including machine set-up, operation, cleanup, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Complete production reports and administrative documentation accurately and on time.
• Perform production tasks requiring repetitive hand movements, standing for extended periods, lifting, moving, and packing materials.
• Submit maintenance requests and proactively identify equipment issues requiring repair.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety standards, housekeeping practices, and government regulations.
• Support second and third operators with machine operation and daily production activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor to support operational requirements.

Base Salary: $22 -$24 depending on experience

Schedule: Midnight Shift (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM)
