John Ross & Sons Ltd. in Atlantic Canada is seeking a full-time General Labourer to support our metal recycling operations in Nova Scotia. You will load, unload, and move products, assist operators, and help maintain a safe, organized work area.
The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift 50 lbs, and comfort with PPE and all-weather conditions. We offer full-time employment, health benefits, RRSP match, a company bonus, and an EAP.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment
Sort and prepare products for shipping or storage
Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.
Accurately label and tag products
Maintain a clean and tidy work area
Upkeeping safety procedures
Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management
Other labor duties as necessary
Qualifications and Skills:
Previous experience of heavy lifting general labour an asset
Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently
Must be comfortable wearing full PPE while on shift
Safety driven mindset
Clear communication skills
Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM and Saturdays as needed
