Job summary

Best Metals in Fredericton, NB, is seeking a bottle sorter to join our team. You will load, sort, and prepare products for shipping, ensuring accurate labeling and tidy work areas while following safety procedures.

The position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Pay is 17.50 CAD/hour, with benefits including health, dental, vision, RRSP match, profit sharing, and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an industrial setting is an asset.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently.
• Full PPE (CSA Steel toes, Gloves, Glasses, safety Vest, Hard Hat).
• Safety driven mindset and clear communication.
• Comfortable working in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment.
• Sort and prepare products for shipping or storage.
• Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.
• Accurately label and tag products.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Upholding safety procedures and report deficiencies to management.
• Other labor duties as necessary.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

• Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic equipment
• Sort and prepare products for shipping or storage
• Assist machine operators and other production staff as needed.
• Accurately label and tag products
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area
• Upkeeping safety procedures
• Ensure deficiencies are noted and reported to management
• Other labor duties as necessary
