Job summary

RONA is seeking a General Helper to maintain our yard and warehouse areas, ensuring safety, cleanliness and efficient operations. You will assist customers, help with lumber stacking and support delivery teams on-site, contributing to a well-organized work environment.

The role emphasizes a positive attitude, physical fitness, and a willingness to learn, with duties expanding as you gain experience and with opportunities for advancement within the company.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a readiness to learn.
• Physically fit, able to lift heavy products, and work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge on Lumber and sales experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Keep the yard clean and safe; secure lumber piles and debris.
• Assist with warehouse maintenance, packaging, restocking and cleaning.
• Support delivery teams as a driver's helper and assist with after-sales service tasks on job sites.
• Help with lumber cutting and product stacking as required.
• Assisting Customers in the yard with their requirements.
• Other duties as requested by the manager.

Contribute to the maintenance and safety of our facilities! As a General Helper, you'll play a key role in the maintenance and organization of our yard and warehouse. Through your commitment and work ethic, you'll ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations while participating in a variety of essential tasks.

Your role:

• Assist with warehouse maintenance, including product packaging, restocking and cleaning


• Support delivery teams as a driver's helper and assist with after-sales service tasks on job sites


• Help with lumber cutting and product stacking as required


• Assisting Customers in the yard with their requirements


• Other duties as requested by the manager
