Job summary

RONA is seeking a lumberyard teammate to help customers with expert advice on lumber and building materials, and to assist with loading and stock organization.

You will check invoices, ensure the correct products are provided, and maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard. The role supports store operations and customer service.

• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided.
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock.
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly.

Your role:

• Provide customers with expert advice and assistance for their lumber and building material needs


• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently

• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard


• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly

What we're looking for:

• Ability to lift 25 pounds


• Knowledge of building materials is an asset
