Job summary

RONA is looking for team members to support the lumberyard with customer service, loading, stock organization, and safety. You will help customers find the right building materials and assist with loading products while maintaining a tidy, safe yard area.

Responsibilities include verifying invoices, unloading trucks, labeling prices, and supporting opening/closing duties. The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and a customer-focused approach in a community store setting.

• Assist customers in loading product safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the Yard.

• Check invoices and verify correct product is provided
• Assist with the daily upkeep of the department including off loading trucks, culling lumber, organizing stock, cleaning, price labelling, and maintaining pallets/stock
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for employees and customers
• Opening and closing duties as needed in the Yard
• Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
