Job summary

Good Shepherd Ministries is seeking a Fundraiser, Community and Volunteer Resources (full-time onsite) to strengthen community fundraising, volunteer engagement and donor stewardship. You will help plan events, recruit volunteers, cultivate donors and support partnerships to advance our mission.

The role requires strong relationship-building, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in data management and reporting using Microsoft 365 and Raiser's Edge NXT.

Job description

We are currently accepting applications for a Fundraiser, Community and Volunteer Resources (full-time onsite).

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Director, Fundraising and Public Relations, the Fundraiser, Community and Volunteer Resources supports Good Shepherd Ministries by strengthening community fundraising, volunteer engagement, donor stewardship and event initiatives. The successful candidate will help plan and deliver fundraising and community events, recruit, engage and support volunteers, cultivate relationships with donors and community partners, and contribute to resource development activities that advance our mission of serving people who are homeless, disadvantaged and marginalized.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong relationship-building, communication, organizational and time-management skills, along with experience in volunteer engagement, event coordination and donor relations. You will be comfortable working with diverse communities, possess strong attention to detail, have experience with data management and reporting, and be proficient in Microsoft 365, Raiser's Edge NXT and web-based applications.
