Good Shepherd Centres in Hamilton, Ontario, is seeking a part-time housing support worker to provide residential and non-residential services. You will manage a caseload, conduct intakes, and support quality of life improvements for clients in a values-based environment.
The role requires a related post-secondary education, knowledge of diverse gender issues, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends. CPR certification and a valid G license are assets.
HOURS – Part Time Friday and Saturday or Sunday and Monday- rotation of days, afternoons and overnights
Rate of pay– $24.89/ Hourly

The successful candidate will extend our mission to residential and non-residential clients through the provision of respectful and appropriate housing support services. This may include case management, crisis intervention and supportive counseling. The incumbent must be able to work independently in a challenging and rewarding values-based environment. This position is within a residential program and as such duties of cleaning, lifting and pushing of items will be required.
