Paladin Security is seeking a Full-Time Security Patrol Guard for the TD Centre in Toronto. The role offers a payrate of $24.00/hour with an averaging overtime method over 88 hours.

The position involves maintaining a safe and secure environment through active patrols, clear visibility, and prompt incident response in a high-traffic setting. Prerequisites include Ontario security licensing, 2 years in retail security, First Aid & CPR Level C, and legal eligibility to work in Canada.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a Security License in Ontario.
• Must have 2 years experience in a retail security environment.
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular interior patrols throughout the mall, including common areas, corridors, entrances, and exits.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
• Monitor shopper and tenant activity, identifying and addressing potential safety or security concerns.
• Respond to incidents including disturbances, thefts, medical calls, and emergencies.
• Provide strong customer service by assisting visitors with directions and general inquiries.
• Enforce mall policies and procedures, including trespass and loitering guidelines.
• Work closely with dispatch, supervisors, and other team members to coordinate response efforts.
• Complete detailed incident reports and daily logs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with crowd management during peak hours, sales events, and special events.
• Support emergency procedures including evacuations and coordination with emergency services.

Job Overview: The TD Centre is one of Toronto’s premier commercial propertieslocatedin the heart of the financial district, supporting a large population of tenants, employees, and visitors each day.

As aPatrol Guard, you will play a key role inmaintaininga safe and secure environment through active patrols, visibility, andtimelyresponse to incidents. This role requires strong observation skills, professionalism, and the ability to interact effectively with the public in a high-traffic setting

Key Responsibilities:

Prerequisites:

• Ability to obtain a Security License in the province of Ontario.
• Must have 2 years experience in a retail security environment
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved provider.
• Previousexperience in retail, mall, or high-volume security environment is an asset
• Strong observation and situational awareness skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Strong report writing and documentation skills
• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Applicants who do notpossessthese certifications can opt into Paladin's Use of Force (UOF)/Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) certification program prior to their onboarding training to ensure they meet the requirements of the position
