Job summary

Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC in Windsor, Ontario is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly staff. You will drive safety, quality, attendance and performance, delivering customer orders on time and to the right location.

You will mentor the workforce, manage large-scale projects and partner with Safety, Engineering and HR to meet business goals while encouraging continuous improvement and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years Amazon experience.
• Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
