Job summary

Amazon Canada Fulfillment Services, ULC in Ajax is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of Amazon Associates in a fast-paced fulfillment center.

You will focus on mentorship, safety, quality and productivity while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet daily targets and customer obligations. This is an early-career, full-time role offering extensive training and leadership pathways across Amazon’s operations network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree required or in progress.
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program for related fields (Supply Chain, Business/Management, Engineering).
• Strong communication, customer service and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor and motivate 50-100 direct report Amazon Associates.
• Work independently in an autonomous environment.
• Stand/walk during shifts up to 12 hours.
• Work nights, weekends and holidays; most sites follow a 4-day work week.
• Oversee deliveries, sort packages, and operate pallet jack/PIT equipment.
• Maintain safety, quality and productivity in a noisy warehouse.
