Job summary

Amazon is seeking a motivated Area Manager to lead a team of hourly staff at our Ontario fulfillment sites. You will mentor, drive safety, quality, attendance, and on-time delivery while collaborating with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business objectives.

As Area Manager II, you will oversee up to 80 associates across multiple workflows, use data-driven methods to close performance gaps, and partner with senior leadership to balance priorities and deliver millions of customer orders with

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and handle physical tasks during shifts.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours and work in variable environments.
• Drive process improvements and lead cross-functional initiatives.
