Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited in Ontario is looking for a customer-focused Associate to join our Shoppers Drug Mart team. You will manage customer service functions, including cash handling, cashier duties and merchandising, while keeping the customer at the center of everything you do.

You will train cashiers and merchandisers, enforce store policies and health and safety standards, handle refunds and exchanges, and help maintain a clean, professional store image.

Responsibilities

• Manage the customer service functions, including cash, cashiers and merchandising.
• Train cashiers/merchandisers in job functions and provide ongoing guidance.
• Ensure loss prevention standards are implemented and assist with daily cash office tasks.
• Enforce proper store image and appearance, assist customers with inquiries, refunds and exchanges.
• Maintain shelves and product displays as directed by store leadership.
• Follow health and safety requirements and comply with store policies.
