Job summary

Loblaw Companies Limited is seeking an experienced retail manager to assist the Front Store Manager at a Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada. You will help manage human, physical and financial resources, ensuring store objectives are met by improving product flow from backroom to sales floor.

Lead by example, develop staff, and maintain store standards while driving customer satisfaction and profitability in a locally owned, community-focused setting.

Qualifications

• Proven retail management experience.
• Ability to manage inventory and backroom to floor flow.
• Strong leadership and staff development.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching and communication skills.
• Ability to plan and organize workload.
• Budgeting and expense control skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store standards to optimize customer experience.
• Work with Management to ensure Store Standards are in effect 100% of the time, including the backroom.
• Assist FSM with labour scheduling and leverage Work Force Management (WFM).
• Ensure staffing levels are adequate to effectively operate the business.
• Assist with hiring for all departments (excluding Pharmacy).
