Job summary

Walmart Canada in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield is hiring a Front End Associate to assist in leadership of front end and department processes, respond to problems, and develop associates through teaching and training.

You will deliver excellent customer service, promote products, ensure safe procedures, manage schedules with the People Lead, and support recruiting and training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Ability to lead and coach associates on front-end operations.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, promoting products, locating merchandise, and assisting with purchases.
• Ensure safe work processes and emergency procedures are followed.
• Handle customer and associate concerns and provide guidance as required.
• Delegate, assist and monitor front-end operations and schedule coverage.
• Review completed schedules with People Lead and coordinate breaks.
• Identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching.
• Lead daily team huddles and communicate updates, goals, and productivity metrics.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety policies.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support management.
• Assist Coach/People Lead with performance conversations and recruitment.
