Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts is seeking a friendly Guest Service Agent to join our team in Mississauga. You will greet guests, assist with check-in/check-out, and deliver attentive, personalized service throughout their stay.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem-solving, and a welcoming presence. You’ll coordinate with housekeeping and other departments, ensure smooth front-desk operations, and help create a memorable guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel, hospitality, customer service, or a related field is an asset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer-service and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional appearance and a positive, welcoming attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
• Familiarity with hotel property-management systems is an asset.
• Additional languages are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and positive attitude.
• Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Handle reservations, room assignments, payments, and guest accounts.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally.
• Provide information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and transportation.
• Address guest concerns and resolve issues while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Answer telephone calls and respond to guest communications.
• Maintain accurate records and follow all front-office procedures.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized front desk area.
• Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and standards of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
