Job summary

Mysa Nordic Spa & Resort in St. Peters, Prince Edward Island, is seeking a Front Desk Agent to warmly welcome guests, handle check-ins, bookings, and inquiries. You will resolve guest questions, assist with emails and calls, and promote spa services while maintaining a tidy, professional front desk area.

The role requires excellent communication, a personable demeanor, and the ability to work weekends/evenings in a fast-paced spa environment. PEI residency is preferred for on-site shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or hospitality settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Able to work weekends and evening shifts and maintain a friendly demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and explain spa procedures and check-in process.
• Resolve guest complaints and escalate to management when needed.
• Handle emails, phone calls, and booking of spa and accommodation appointments.
• Follow front desk procedures with accuracy, courtesy, and teamwork.
• Process departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
• Promote current promotions and spa services to guests.
• Perform laundry duties and fold towels/robes as required.
• Light cleaning and inspection of locker rooms and common areas.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere.

Job description

Mysa Nordic Spa & Resort is Prince Edward Island’s first Nordic Spa. Located in St. Peters, Mysa offers a wide range of spa and relaxation services including Scandinavian hot baths, essential oil steam rooms, cold water plunges, a Finnish sauna, massage therapy, meditation, and relaxation sessions. The resort also includes 17 water view accommodations, top-tier food and beverage service, and provide residents and visitors with a place to heal, rejuvenate, and refresh.

As a Front Desk Agent, You Will

• Greet arriving guests in a friendly manner, provide our spa check in process, and explain spa procedures
• Resolve guest complaints and questions, referring to management for direction when needed
• Clerical duties required, such as responding to emails, answering the phone, and booking spa and accommodation appointments
• Comply with front desk procedures and perform assigned duties with attention to detail, accuracy, courtesy, and cooperativeness
• Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments
• Promote sales advice by communicating current promotions and offering products and treatments
• Daily laundry duties and folding of towels and robes, as required
• Light cleaning and inspection of locker rooms and common areas throughout shift
• Work alongside Mysa team to establish a safe and fun atmosphere
