Job summary

St. Kateri Tekakwitha C.S. within the Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a .10 FTE French Immersion Curriculum Coverage LTO teacher to start on September 2, 2026, and end June 30, 2027 (subject to prior departure/return).

The ideal candidate holds OCT certification, Junior/Intermediate qualifications, French as a Second Language Part 1, and native-like fluency. Compensation will be determined by QECO category and years of certified teaching experience.

The above noted School requires a .10 French Immersion Curriculum Coverage LTO teacher to teach the following:

GRADE/SUBJECT: .10 FTE

START DATE : September 2, 2026

END DATE: June 30, 2027 (subject to an earlier departure/ return of the incumbent teacher)

Interested candidates must hold the following qualifications:

• Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
• Junior/Intermediate Qualifications
• French as a Second Language, Part 1
• Native-like fluency

Compensation will be dependent on placement on the salary grid (as per applicable collective agreement). * Placement is determined by QECO category evaluation and years of certified teaching experience.
