Job summary

Techo-Bloc in Canada is seeking a Production Forklift Driver to keep the production line moving safely and efficiently. You will operate a sit-down forklift, move finished products to storage, and inspect equipment while reporting any mechanical issues.

Work outdoors when required, with a day shift from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. This hands-on role offers steady, dependable work and the chance to contribute to a premium product line and strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator's competency card or renewal.
• Experience as sit-down forklift operator (1 year minimum).
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Good attendance record.
• Resourcefulness.
• Punctual person.
• Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane or electric sit-down forklift.
• Move finished products to storage & transport materials as needed.
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues.
• Keep your work area and forklift clean and safe.
• Follow all health & safety rules (seatbelt on at all times!).
• Stay alert to avoid incidents involving pedestrians, trucks, buildings, fixed equipment, and other machinery.
• Work in an outdoor environment (as required).

Pay & Schedule

$23.07 to $23.61/hour

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Your Role

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
