Job summary

Techo-Bloc Inc. is seeking a Yard Forklift Operator to contribute to accurate, efficient, and safe loading of customer orders in an outdoor yard environment. You will locate, move, and load concrete products while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.

The role is on the night shift (Monday to Thursday, 5 PM to 5 AM) with hourly pay from CAD 23.69 to CAD 24.16. This is a physically demanding position requiring lifting up to 50 pounds and strict adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator's competency card (or renewal)
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift (1 year minimum)
• Ability to work independently and stay motivated
• Punctual and reliable with a safety-first mindset

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift in an outdoor yard.

Job Description

$23.69 to $24.16/hour

Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5 PM to 5 AM

Your Role

As a Yard Forklift Operator, you play a key role in ensuring customer orders are loaded accurately, efficiently, and safely. Working in an outdoor environment, you will be responsible for locating, moving, and loading concrete products throughout the yard while maintaining a strong focus on safety and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a propane sit-down forklift in a busy outdoor yard environment.
• Pick and stage products according to shipping orders.
• Load customer and company trucks accurately and efficiently.
• Transport products and materials throughout the yard to support operations.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections of equipment and report any defects or mechanical issues.
• Maintain awareness of pedestrians, trucks, equipment, and yard traffic at all times.
• Follow safe operating procedures and forklift capacity limits.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working condition.
• Assist with yard organization and housekeeping to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications
