Job summary

Techo-Bloc in Canada is seeking a Production Forklift Driver to keep the production line moving safely. You’ll operate a sit-down forklift and handle finished goods and materials.

This role requires a valid forklift competency card and at least 1 year of sit-down forklift experience. Night shift with a premium and opportunities for career growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator's competency card.
• Minimum 1 year sit-down forklift experience.
• Self-motivated and proactive.
• Good attendance record.
• Punctual person.
• Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane or electric sit-down forklift.
• Move finished products to storage and transport materials as needed.
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues.
• Keep your work area and forklift clean and safe.
• Follow all health and safety rules (seatbelt on at all times!).
• Stay alert to avoid incidents involving pedestrians, trucks, buildings, fixed equipment, and other machinery.
• Work in an outdoor environment (as required).

Pay & Schedule

$23.07 to $23.61/hour

Night shift:Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

Night premium:2$/H

Your Role

As aProduction Forklift Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping the production line moving smoothly and safely .

You will:

• Operate a propane or electricsit-down forklift
• Move finished products to storage & transport materials as needed
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues
• Keep your work area and forklift clean and safe
• Follow all health & safety rules (seatbelt on at all times!)

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
