Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd in London is seeking a Foreman for our London Construction & Forestry location. You will be responsible for the daily organization and dispatch of technicians, providing quality repair work for the Service Department, and advising the Service Manager on technician skills and training needs.

We value hands-on leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to service excellence. Candidates should have heavy equipment experience and be prepared for after-hours availability

Qualifications

• Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment is an asset.
• Certified Journeyman in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade required.
• Experience in a service department setting required.
• Candidates must be willing to be available after-hours.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the organization of the work performed and quality control
• Supervise the work of service technicians
• Maintain an organized, clean work environment
• Advise and mentor technicians
• Commitment to customer service and service excellence
• Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, the service team, and other branch personnel
• Establish & maintain an on-call field schedule
• Converse with the customers and operators on the phone, email, or in person
• Manage costs and ensure profitability of the department
• Opening and closing work orders, preparing work orders for warranty
• Other duties as required
