Job summary

Tim Hortons in Springhill, NS is seeking an experienced Supervisor for a permanent, full-time, on-site position. The role offers $18.50/hour for 40 hours per week, with an anticipated start date as soon as possible.

Responsibilities include overseeing daily operations, supervising 5–10 staff, ensuring food quality and service, and enforcing policies. A high school diploma and 1–2 years of quick-service supervision experience are required; First Aid and Safe Food Handling certificates are assets.

Qualifications

• Completed secondary school (high school).
• 1+ year but less than 2 years of experience in quick-service restaurant or comparable food-service experience is required.
• Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations and supervise a team of 5–10 staff.
• Coordinate activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
• Establish work procedures and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Train staff in duties and sanitation and safety procedures.
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards and enforce policies.
