Job summary

Tim Hortons in Amherst, Nova Scotia is seeking an experienced Supervisor for a permanent, full-time, on-site role at $18.50/hour for 40 hours weekly. An anticipated start date as soon as possible; English language work environment.

Job description

Tim Hortons located at 34 Highway Route 6, Amherst N.S., B4H 0A1 is seeking an experienced Supervisor for a permanent, full time position. This is an on-site position offering $18.50/hour for 40 hours per week, with one vacancy available and an anticipated start date as soon as possible. The language of work is English.

The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and supervise a team of 5-10 people.

Responsibilities include supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food; establish work procedures; maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage; training staff in job duties and sanitation and safety procedures; ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards; and participate in the enforcement of policies and procedures.

Applicants must have completed secondary school (high school) and have a minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the quick-service restaurant or comparable food-service experience is required, including relevant supervisory or management experience.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills are required. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be available for a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
