Job description

Tim Hortons located at 4484 Upper Main Street, Oxford N.S., B0M 1P0 is seeking an experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager for a permanent, full time position. This is an on-site position offering $22.00/hour for 40 hours per week, with one vacancy available and an anticipated start date as soon as possible. The language of work is English.

The successful candidate will assist with overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant and supervise a team of more than 20 employees.

Responsibilities include assisting with planning, organizing, and evaluating restaurant operations, monitoring revenues and labour costs, overseeing staff training, controlling inventory, ensuring food safety and health and safety requirements are followed, assist with setting staff work schedules and monitoring staff performance, and resolving customer complaints.

Applicants must have completed secondary school (high school) and have a minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the quick-service restaurant or comparable food-service experience is required, including relevant supervisory or management experience.

Strong leadership, communication, organizational and problem-solving skills are required. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be available for a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
