Compass Group Canada is seeking a Food Service Worker to prepare, present and serve meals, ensuring quality and attractive presentation across all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.

Responsibilities include prep work (washing, peeling, cutting), carrying items, storing and rotating food, setting up items for sale, cleaning, re-stocking, following recipes and temperature controls, and addressing customer concerns with friendly service. FoodSafe Level 1 certification is required.

Qualificações

• FoodSafe Level 1 Certification is required.
• Familiar with cash register (POS) is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills to handle heavy workload.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good command of English, verbal and written.
• Previous food service experience is an asset.
• Physical ability to perform duties.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting and seeding fruits and vegetables.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays safely between stations.
• Store and rotate food following wrapping, dating and safety procedures.
• Set up items for daily purchase.
• Perform general cleaning and remove trash.
• Distribute supplies and utensils.
• Follow approved recipes and ensure proper temperatures and portions.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay information to supervisor.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Provide service in all retail areas, including cashiering and line serving.
