Compass Group Canada is hiring a Food Service Worker to prepare, present and serve meals in a healthcare or facility setting. You will perform prep work, help with station setup and cashiering, and ensure food safety and quality across service lines.

The role requires FoodSafe Level 1, strong English communication, and the ability to work both independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment with heavy workload. Training provided and supervision available.

Qualifikationen

• FoodSafe Level 1 certification is required.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good command of English, spoken and written.

Aufgaben

• Prepare prep work: wash, peel, cut fruits/vegetables.
• Carry pans, kettles and trays safely between stations.
• Store food with wrapping, dating and rotation procedures.
• Set up items for daily purchase.
• Perform general cleaning and remove trash.
• Distribute supplies, utensils and portable equipment.
• Follow recipes and portion control; notify cooks if temps are off.
• Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner.
• Resolve customer concerns and relay to supervisor.
• Ensure sanitation and safety compliance.
• Provide service in all retail areas including cashiering.
