Job summary

The Drake Hotel in Toronto seeks an experienced Food + Beverage Manager to lead a dynamic front-of-house team in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.

You will drive service excellence, manage safety and compliance, and partner with culinary leadership on menu and beverage direction. Strong communication and training skills are essential, with a passion for hospitality and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a high-volume dining environment, fine or casual.
• Experience leading front-of-house teams and managing guest service.
• Knowledge of safety, compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead FOH team hiring, training and mentoring to meet sales and service goals.
• Oversee operations, safety, and compliance in a high-volume setting.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and implement service improvements.
• Manage reservations, events and large party bookings with accuracy.
• Develop and execute F+B programs including wine and cocktail initiatives.
