AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Oshawa location.

This part-time position offers casual flexibility and involves coordinating resident care, leading shift reports, and ensuring orders are implemented promptly within a supportive team. The RN will bring a Bachelor’s in Nursing, active provincial registration, and knowledge of applicable acts and regulations to uphold resident safety and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Registration in good standing with provincial nursing registry.
• Knowledge of the Long‑Term Care Act and related Regulations and safety acts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services in the residence.
• Leads shift report with the health care team ensuring changes in residents’ status are communicated.
• Reviews physician orders and ensures timely implementation; flags any processing difficulties to the Director of Care.
