Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Ontario to coordinate nursing and services for residents under guidance from the Director of Care. You will lead shift reports, document changes, and ensure orders are implemented promptly in compliance with provincial standards.

This role requires a Bachelor’s in Nursing, active provincial registration, and knowledge of long-term care laws. A collaborative, respectful team environment supports resident safety and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Registration in good standing with the provincial nursing college.
• Knowledge of Long-Term Care Act and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Lead shift report with health care team and inform on changes in resident status.
• Record changes in residents' condition with proper chart documentation.
• Review and process physician orders promptly per procedure and escalate when needed.
• Communicate difficulties in processing orders to the Director of Care.
