Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking a Fleet Manager in Vancouver to coordinate daily fleet operations, manage maintenance, and serve as the main contact for staff. The role requires organization, problem-solving, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to ensure vehicles are safe, compliant, and operational.

The contract runs for three months with weekly pay and 4% vacation pay; extension possible for the right candidate.

Qualifications

Join a Mission-Driven Organization as a Fleet Manager Supporting Essential Transportation ServicesAgilus by Synergie is recruiting for a Fleet Manager in the health care industry in Vancouver, British Columbia. Agilus is recruiting for a Fleet Manager to join a dynamic and purpose-driven organization supporting essential transportation services across British Columbia. In this role, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily fleet operations, managing maintenance schedules, tracking vehicle documentation, and serving as the key point of contact for fleet users. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized professional who enjoys problem-solving, working with multiple stakeholders, and ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational.

Total rewards: $30.00 - $32.00 hourly, Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay. Ability to get your foot in the door with one of BC's top employers. 3 month contract to start with possibility of extension. Monday to Friday position with full time hours. Collaborative and team-oriented work environment.

A typical day:
  • Coordinate daily fleet operations, including vehicle assignments, scheduling, and replacement vehicles
  • Manage fleet maintenance and repair activities to ensure timely servicing and compliance
  • Act as the primary point of contact for staff regarding vehicle issues, incidents, and fleet-related inquiries
  • Maintain accurate fleet records, including insurance, registrations, inspections, and maintenance documentation
  • Monitor fleet performance and ensure vehicle information remains current within fleet management systems
  • Liaise with vendors, repair facilities, service providers, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently
  • Support incident reporting processes and coordinate follow-up activities as required
  • Assist with administrative reporting, record management, and continuous improvement of fleet operations
Successful candidates will have:
  • Experience coordinating fleet operations, transportation services, logistics, facilities, or related functions
  • Hands‑on experience using fleet management systems such as Holman, Fleetio, or similar software
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues, coordinate solutions, and respond to changing operational requirements

Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence required
